Hi, I’m Alicia.

I’ve always believed that numbers tell a story, not just of profit and loss, but of purpose, resilience, and growth. My journey with bookkeeping began when I was just eighteen, keeping the books for a preschool. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for helping people bring clarity and confidence to their finances.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from small family-owned businesses and construction companies to nonprofits, churches, and even Fortune 500 payroll systems. I hold a degrees in Business and Accounting, am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Certified, Bill.com certified, and more. But, certifications and degrees only have value in how you use them. My work has always centered on finding practical, grounded ways to help others feel in control of their financial world.

My background, however, goes beyond accounting. I also hold a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Theology with a focus on pastoral counseling. My graduate work centered on helping people heal from trauma, rebuild meaning, and move forward with integrity and hope. That understanding of the human side of life, what motivates us, what overwhelms us, and what restores us, shapes everything I do at Tally & Sage.

Along the way, I became a certified yoga and meditation teacher, served as treasurer for several churches, and taught countless adult education classes. Whether teaching, reconciling accounts, or guiding clients through difficult financial transitions, my goal has always been the same: to bring calm, order, and understanding to complex situations.

At Tally & Sage Financial Services, I blend the precision of accounting with the empathy of counseling. I believe financial clarity isn’t just about keeping perfect records, it’s about creating a foundation where your work, your resources, and your values can align. My role is to help you build that foundation with both skill and compassion.

My Approach

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Dream it

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
